Hi, I'm happy that you decided to check my site out! I'm 17 years old, He / Him, from the USA, and I enjoy sharing my thoughts and hearing from others about their similar experiences.
Thoughts
1/11/25: I think I'm going to start a journey of self actualization. For those who don't know, it's when you realize your full potential as a person. I want to be someone that kid me could look up to.
1/10/25: I forgot to post yesterday. Learning Wet Hands by C418 on my guitar is proving to be very challenging, especially this one part towards the end which requires some tricky hand placement and quick chord changes, however; I have found that the more I practice that part the easier it gets. I'm pretty damn close to being able to play it properly. What once seemed a mountain of a task is now much more manageable.
1/8/25: It's honestly scary to live in the US because of the political scene. Apparently Trump wants Greenland and the Panama Canal to be US territory and he refuses to rule out military force. When he tries to take Greenland and Panama Canal it would definitely start some sort of conflict, or maybe even a war. I'm 17 years old, 18 in about 5 months and I'll be required to sign up for selective service and if there's possibly a war that's going to happen then there's a good chance I'll be drafted, and I'm terrified of war. I know this is the coldest take ever but I think war is so stupid. Back in the day when they were trying to stop Hitler it was an acceptable reason but outside of that I think war is just so stupid. Especially now in modern times where we have nukes. If nukes get launched it will kill millions of innocent souls, but also contaminate those areas so it'll be unlivable for years. Sorry for the rant, I'll try to keep the next post short and sweet.
1/7/25: It's so frustrating! When I try to learn a beginner song on the guitar that I actually like, it's challenging but doable to learn most of it. Then I get to the end and it's like they saved the hardest part for last! Pigs on the Wing 1 by Pink Floyd was really simple until the end of the song with an A minor to F major barre chord change. An arrangement of Wet Hands by C418 was also smooth sailing until the end with a pretty difficult section. I guess the only way out is through.
1/6/25: I wish I got to experience "indie web" before the internet was dominated by just a few main sites. Neocities has a really cool vibe and I like seeing each sites' personalities.
